GREENTECH HEATSHIELD P250 Flexible Putty is designed to restrict the spread of fire and smoke from one compartment to another where electrical and mechanical services penetrate through fire rated separating walls and floors. P250 is also supplied in pre-formed Putty Pads which are designed to reinstate and protect Gypsum Drywalls where socket boxes are installed.
GREENTECH HEATSHIELD P250 Flexible Putty is silicone polymer based which remains permanently flexible with excellent adhesion properties. Tested and Certified in accordance with BS EN 1366-3, and other International Standards, P250 is a versatile and reusable solution for a wide range of fire stop requirements and is particularly suited to multi cable penetration seals.
GREENTECH HEATSHIELD P250 Putty Pads are supplied in 3.5mm thick pre-formed which are designed for fitting inside, or around plastic electrical socket boxes where they are installed in fire rated gypsum drywalls.
- Tested and certified by internationally recognised independent authorities in accordance with BS EN 1366-3 2021 for up to 2 Hours fire resistance.
- Remains permanently flexible and reuseable.

How do HEATSHIELD P250 and P250 Putty Pads Work?
When exposed to elevated temperatures of a fire situation P250 Putty and P250 Putty Pads char to provide a robust flexible seal which provides a non- active but resilient barrier and this prevents the spread of fire and hot gases from one compartment to another.
